The best archery 3D shoot is coming back to Snowbird, Utah for the 7th year in a row.  This year is BIGGER and BETTER than ever with more big game targets and novelty shots than in years past, including a 3d pop up course. All shooting styles and all experience levels are invited, there will be good shooting for everyone.

TO AVOID CONGESTION AT THE TOP ON SATURDAY MORNING, WE ARE OFFERING A LIMITED AMOUNT OF START TIMES FOR THE TRAM.  THEY WILL BE EVERY 30 MINUTES UNTIL 10:30 am and at that  point the tram will be open to everyone.  The lower courses, archery range and 3D popup will be open to everyone.

1) Warm Up – The practice range will be just South of the Plaza Deck.

2) Attendees can shoot one of three courses with over 100 targets throughout. Children will also have the opportunity to shoot 25 targets with their parents on the intermediate courses just East of the Practice Range and the Shooting Range. Children under 16 years of age MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

3) Bow cases should be left in car or hotel room.

4) We want to emphasize having water. We will have water on each course.
If you want, pack a water filter/pump. There is a high mountain stream on one of the courses where water can be filtered. Please do not drink water directly out of the stream without first treating the water appropriately.

5) Snacks – it is going to be a long day, so make sure that you have enough nutrients in your pack that you  stay strong all day.

6) It is going to be HOT, be prepared.

a. Sunscreen
b.Hat or Visor
c. Light breathable clothing
d. Comfortable shoes – sneakers should be fine.

7)Extras – Make sure your bow is in working condition. There will be a “warm up” area at Base Camp and we’ll probably have a few field tools, but you may want to pack an Allen wrench in your day pack.

a. Absolutely NO broadheads allowed. If a shooter is caught using broadheads, he/she will be removed from the course immediately without a refund.

8) This is a fun shoot – range finders and binoculars are welcome to be used on the course.

9) ABSOLUTELY NO Drugs or Alcohol on the course.

10) If you have any physical limitations, please let us know at the registration table.

11) We are on private grounds so please respect the property.

a. Use designated restroom facilities
b. Use designated trash cans
c. At no time are you allowed to leave the designated course boundaries.

12) Total Archery Challenge reserves the right to revoke and remove any individual from the course who does not comply with course rules.

Where to check in

Registration will be at Snowbird Plaza Center at the beginning of the Skiers Bridge. Look for the registration tent. Registration will open at 8:30AM on Friday and 7:00am Saturday and Sunday.  (lifts will begin approx. 30min after registration begins)

You will receive the following:
1) Prime Total Archery Challenge  Scorecard
2) Lift Ticket to get on the lift
3) Raffle Ticket  (may purchase extra tickets)

Proof of purchase

Online Sale – If you purchased your ticket online at bring your ticket, mobile device or receipt as proof of registration.


You can register the day of the event with either cash or major credit card. No
personal checks accepted. Cash is preferred and appreciated.

Waiver of Liability

You are REQUIRED to sign a waiver of liability before receiving your lift ticket and being allowed on the mountain.

Leaving the course/mountain

The lift will close at 4pm Friday and Saturday and 3pm on Sunday.  Attendees are encouraged to NOT wait until the last minute to ride the lift up.

Attendee Raffle

Every paid attendee will be entered into the Attendee Raffle.   Must be present to win, except for the bow.

Novelty Shots

Several Novelty Shots will be available to “Pay and Play”, like winning a new truck or side by side. Bring a few
extra bucks to shoot these fun shots, and have a chance at some great sponsor prizes.

The Snowbird center has numerous eating establishments.  For a made to order sandwich check out General Grits.  Take your sack lunch on the Mountain with you.
